What is it about Surprise eggs that has our kids so obsessed? My little girl is constantly asking for eggs. If she is not opening her own she is watching other kids or adults opening their own on the internet.

It’s not a new craze at all. I can remember the excitement of opening a Kinder Egg when I was a child. Not only did you get yummy chocolate but also a surprise inside. So exciting.

Back then we did not have the internet so were not able to watch others opening eggs. Perhaps we too would be watching these videos if we could.

It’s not just the chocolate and the toy but it’s the surprise that we all love so much. Which one did we get, and which one could we get next time.

There seems to be so many surprise items for sale at the moment. All supermarkets and even smaller cheaper shops are selling a large range of surprise eggs. We are spoilt for choice. Some are chocolate eggs with toys in, some chocolate with colouring pages in, some plastic eggs with a toy and some sweets, some eggs have slime and sticky foam, some larger eggs are plastic and contain soft toys.

It really is a great time to be a kid 🙂
