It’s nearly Easter and we have a great idea for all you Surprise eggs fans.
How many of you have left over plastic egg shells from your Surprise Toys? Why not use your plastic eggs and refill with chocolate eggs, toys or toys?! This is not only a lot of fun but will ensure your child does not have too much chocolate.
This exactly what I am doing for my toddler. She is too young for an Easter egg hunt so I will hide a plastic egg in each room of our house for her to find. With a couple of unused Surprise eggs along the way too. I will guide her to each room and then the final egg will be an Easter egg.
Instead of a chocolate egg at the end you could use a Hatching PodPal Big egg. These are very reasonably priced and include a large cuddly toy and large plastic egg that little ones love to play with.
Adapting your Easter Egg hunt to suit your child.
Healthy Eggs
You can amend the game to suit your child so more toys, less chocolate, use fruit instead of sweets.
For younger children
Cut out bunny footprints or arrows to guide your child to the eggs.
For older children
Write out clues for each egg. Leave the next clue with each egg. You can write things like Cockney slang ‘Look under the apple and pears’ (look under the stairs) or descriptive clues ‘Find me in a place where toast is made’ (near the toaster).
So much fun. Enjoy 🙂
